Assessments

We offer assessments for autism, as well as co-occurring differences, using internationally recognised assessment protocols.

We understand that many people have complicated feelings about labels. Some wish to avoid them, while others experience profound relief in finally having language that reflects their lived experience.

Our approach to assessment is not about defining what is “wrong.” It is about understanding how a person’s nervous system processes, communicates, learns, and experiences the world.

When a formal identification is useful, it can be deeply validating and can play an important role in self-understanding, self-compassion, self-advocacy, and accessing appropriate supports, accommodations, and services.
